4G Cell phone jammers are a danger to the public

4G Cell phone jammers put every one of us at risk, writes Chuck Chen of communications regulator the Australian Communications and Media Authority, responding to recent reports of their use in Australia. http://www.4gcellphonejammers.com/

In cases of emergency, a quick call to the police, ambulance, or fire department is vital. Yet if a 4g cell phone jammer is in operation, calling from a mobile phone will not be possible. A dangerous situation could turn into a disastrous one very quickly.

Yet 4g cell phone jammers take away this opportunity. And it is not only phones that are currently within the vicinity of a jammer that are affected. Those phones that have been within the vicinity of a jammer but have moved on may not operate still, and may have to be reset in order for them to work again. So even though the phone may have been jammed on one side of town, by the time you reach the other side, it may still not be working. 4g cell phone jammer

People who operate, supply or possess a 4g cell phone jammer risk a penalty of up to five years in prison or a $550,000 fine. On top of these penalties, the ACMA continues to develop arrangements with other agencies and organisations to ensure that jammers being brought into the country are intercepted and destroyed.
